For over forty years, Ojibway Camp has been a central hub of summers spent in Pointe au Baril. Each summer, we welcome hundreds of children between the ages of three and fourteen. With a focus on safety and skills, but most importantly fun, Ojibway Camp is where our kids come to learn independence, develop new skills and make friends that last a lifetime.
We are very pleased to welcome Madi Macdonald back to the Ojibway Camp as the new Recreation Manager. Madi has had many years of experience both as a camper and a leader of the Ojibway Recreation Program. Madi has been travelling and teaching overseas for the past year and a half; we are excited about the energy and leadership she will bring to the camp this summer!
We also provide employment opportunities for dozens of our young adults (fifteen and older) as counselors and CIT’s, giving them important work experience that helps set them up for future success. Please follow the Employment Opportunities link if you have any questions regarding work at the Ojibway Club.
Camp activities include arts and crafts, canoeing, sailing, swimming, kayaking and tennis. All-camp activities such as lip synch and egg drop, and biweekly picnics, are always favourites.
2018 Ojibway Camp runs from Monday, 2 July through Friday, 24 August.
We look forward to seeing all our friends, new and old, on the front dock!
2018 booklet will be available online in the Spring of 2018.
